This shrine is also known as Sanja-sama and is one of the most famous Shinto shrines in Tokyo. It is the oldest shrine in Tokyo, and Meiji Jingu Shrine, where Emperor Meiji and his wife are buried. The Great Buddha Hall of this temple houses the world's largest bronze statue of Buddha Vairocana, known as Daibutsu in Japanese. You are then taken to the Deer Park, which is home to hundreds of freely roaming deer. You then head to Kyoto to see Kinkauji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion because its top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf. You will also see the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was the residence of Japan's imperial family until 1868, when the emperor and the capital were moved from Kyoto to Tokyo. You will have the chance to experience the famous Japanese tea ceremony, as Kyoto remains the center of the Japanese tea ceremony in the world. Spend the night at the hotel.
