How to apply for a Singapore visa from India
Singapore does not offer Indians a direct individual online application — entry visa applications must be submitted through the Singapore High Commission/Consulate’s Authorised Visa Agents (or a Singapore-based sponsor/travel agent such as Spark Holidays). You provide your documents and photo, the agent submits the application, and the approved e-visa is emailed to you. Print it and carry it with your passport.
Documents required
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from arrival
- A recent passport-size colour photo (as per Singapore specs)
- Completed application form (Form 14A, handled by the agent)
- Confirmed return/onward ticket and proof of accommodation
- Proof of funds; supporting documents may be requested
96-hour visa-free transit
If you hold a valid visa for the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, Germany, Switzerland or New Zealand, you may qualify for Singapore’s 96-hour Visa-Free Transit Facility instead of a full visa — useful for a short stopover. Conditions apply, so confirm eligibility before you rely on it.
