After breakfast, enjoy the city tour of Tokyo, the largest populated metropolis in the world. As modernized as the city may be there are still aspects of its traditional history present. Visit Toyota Mega Web, Asakusa Temple. This temple is also known as Sanja-sama and is one of the most famous Shinto shrines in Tokyo. It is the oldest temple in Tokyo, and Meiji Jingu Shrine, the place where Emperor Meiji and his wife are enshrined. Later visit Orientation tour- Tokyo Station, Akhiabara, Imperial Palace, Diet Building etc. Visit Tokyo Tower. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, travel to Hakone, an iconic hot spring destination, by public transportation like the Hakone Tozan Cable Car or enjoy a bird’s eye view from the Hakone Ropeway. Enjoy the view of Mt Fuji 5th Station (Weather Permittant), Gotemba Peace Park & Lake Ashi Cruise. Overnight stay at hotel.
Morning after breakfast, we will be riding the bullet train to Nagoya and transfer onto the JR Limited Express to Takayama. The city is famous for the artisans and craftsmen who reside there with techniques that date back as far as the 9th century. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, depart from Takayama –visit Market Tour of Takayama, Shirakawa Go Village Tour and drop at Nagoya station to Hiroshima by bullet train. On arrival transfer to your pre booked hotel. Overnight in Hotel.
Morning after breakfast, visit Peace Memorial Park which was built in the aftermath of the atomic bomb. The park symbolizes the hope for a world without nuclear weapons. From the park you can see the Genbaku Dome or Atomic Bomb Dome, one of the very few surviving structures from the attack. Later visit Miyajima Island, an island near Hiroshima. Located on the island is Itsukushima Shrine, which is known for its large torii gate that is built in the sea. Overnight in Hotel.
After breakfast, depart for Kobe: Visit Earthquake Museum, Mahavir Jain Temple. Later depart for Osaka tour – visit the Osaka castel, Umedaskydech. Overnight in Hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. This morning, proceed to Nara to visit the Todaiji Temple – a Buddhist temple complex that was once one of the powerful Seven Great Temples. This temple’s Great Buddha Hall houses the world’s largest bronze statue of the Buddha Vairocana, known in Japanese as Daibutsu. You are then driven to the Deer Park, which is home to hundreds of freely roaming deer. Thereafter you proceed to Kyoto to visit the Kinkauji Temple, which is also known as the Golden Pavilion because its top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf. You will also see the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was the residence of Japan’s Imperial Family until 1868, when the emperor and capital were moved from Kyoto to Tokyo. You get to experience the famous Japanese tea ceremony, as Kyoto remains the center of the Japanese tea ceremony in the world. Overnight in Hotel.
